seat allocation in vip car

Question

Hi there, We have tickets for Beijing-Xi'an on the G655.This service does not have a business class, it has VIP/Premier, 1st class & 2nd class. Our seats are in the VIP/ Premier car. We have given tickets for car 8, seats 9A and 9C. The travel agent who arranged these tickets cannot confirm if these seats are together or apart (We are travelling as couple).On this service and in this car, are the seats individually placed or in the 2-seats-one-side, 1 seat other formation?Thanks

Yes, the seat 9A and 9C are two adjoining seats on the 2 seats side. I have been there before, it is in a separate room with 5 seats in total only, good window review.
