About:China Visa Application in UK

visa APLICATION TO CHINA IN SEPTEMBER

HI Im traveling in September to china, i live in Glasgow with spanish passport do i need to go to edinburgh to apply for the visa? how long it takes and do I need to leave my Spanish passport ?
do I need to buy the ticket first? or should I apply for de visa first,

Liz, you should buy the ticket before applying for the visa because it's required in the application process. You can apply from the CVASC in Edinburgh, Manchester, or London. Just select one that is most convenient to you. You can go there by person or send an main to apply for visa. Normal application takes four working days and mail application takes 10 working days deducting the days on the way. You need to leave your Spanish passport during the aplication process.
