Day trip in Jinshanling and sunset in Simatai

Hello! I was planning to make a hike from JSL to to Simatai in the middle of september, but now i see that these two sections are not connected. How can i see these two parts in one day ( traveling from Beijing on a public transport) ? I'm thinking to visit JSL as early as possible and see the sunset from Simatai. Is there a shuttle bus or taxe between these two ponts? Any advice?
P.S. I found information, that JSL section (east gate) will be reopened from 15, August.
Thank You!

From Beijing City, you may take a direct bus from Wangjing West Bus Stop to JSL Great Wall. This bus departs at 08:00 in the morning.
As I know, you cannot hike from JSL to Simatai directly. Therefore, you may need to take a taxi to Simatai.

Well, you can take bus no.866 from Dongzhimen Transport Hub to Miaocheng East first. This bus operates from 06:00 in weekdays, 07:00 on Saturday and 08:30 on Sunday. Then you may transfer bus Jiao 81 to Miyun Bus Stop. After that, you may transfer bus Mi 55 to Gubei Water Town. Later, you can walk to Simatai Great Wall directly. The whole trip may take around 2.5 hours.
To JSL, you may take a shuttle bus which heads for Luanping at Wangjing West Bus Stop to JSL Service Area. This bus operates from 07:00. Upon arrival, you are about 6 kilometers away from the scenic spot, so you can take a taxi there directly.
