About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

If my double entry tourist visa expires at the beginning of sept

can I apply now to extend it until Oct? How exactly do I go about doing this without having to go to Hong again. I just have done the 30 day border cross this week :)

Poppy, usually, you should extend 7 days earlier before it expires, so you should just wait and apply for the extension later.

Hi Yvonne.. Your so good to replay. I have heard about this but will they actually allow an extension and what paperwork would you need?

Usually, you are allowed to apply for the extension. You need to provide the return ticket, accommodation arrangement, your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, and a valid registration form of temporary residence.
