Delhi-Shanghai-Vancouver

We as family of three members from India with Indian passports traveling to Vancouver, Canada will reach SH. Then we fly to Vancouver after a layover of 19 hours 35 minutes. i.e.
03-09-17 20.20 to 04-09-17 15.55

1. Do we need transit visa?
2. What are facilities available for us?
3. Is it possible to have a guided tour for a brief time?

1. No, you do not need a visa because you are eligible for the 24h visa-free policy.
2. You can find the hourly lounge at T2 for a rest.
3. If you want to leave the airport for a short trip, you may apply a stay permit at the immigration counter. Then you are advised to take metro line 2 to People’s Square Station, Exit 2. After that, you may walk about 200 meters to the south gate of Urban Planning Exhibition Hall where you can catch the sightseeing bus to visit the city.
