student visa while touring

Hey I'm from Pakistan can I get a student X type if I'm already in China on tourist L type, without going back to my country?

Hi, it's possible for you to convert your current L type to a student X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you don't need to leave China.
