Do citizens of Hong Kong need a visa if flying from Australia to China

I am planning to join a China tour, flying out from Melbourne, Australia to Chengdu, China direct. I have HK ID card and Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao with me. Do I need to apply a entry permit to visit China?
many thanks.
