About:China Transit Visa

Do we need Visa for my stay for 22 hrs at china

Me n my wife both Indian citizen returning from SFO US via China southern has 22 hrs lay over time at Guangzhou airport. Are we eligible for free transit there so that we check in a hotel and go out and the procedures to follow in this regard.

Jo, yes, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. You can check in at a hotel outside the airport as long as you apply for a free temporary stay permit upon arrival at Guangzhou airport.
