About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Australian in India - applying for China visa from there.

I am going to India and will need to apply for a Chinese entry permit from there. Do you foresee any difficulty with that? I could apply before I leave Australia but my travel dates for China are not yet confirmed as it is a business trip. What do you advise please.
