About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Only applicable for Transit?

Hi there, we are making a short (~65 hour) trip to Beijing for a wedding in September and hoping to use the 72 hour free transit, but our flights arrives from and departs back to Paris. Is it available to us or do we need a proper tourist L type? Thanks

You cannot use 72 hour free transit because your trip is not a transit. You need to apply for a tourist L type for that.
