About:Shanghai East Nanjing Road

Fastest way to travel from Shanghai(PVG Airport) to HangZhou West Lake?

Hi, may I check what is the best way to travel from (PVG Airport to West Lake? We have a family of 5 people (elderly and kids). Our flight will land at Pudong Intl Airport at 18hrs and we will be checking in at a West Lake hotel.

There is a direct coach from PVG to Hangzhou Wulinmen Airport Ticket Office. The bus leaves at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00 after 18:00. The duration is around 3 hours. Upon arrival, you are just about 4 kilometers to the West Lake, so you can take a taxi to your hotel directly.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your reply. May I check whether this long distance coach have multiple stops on its way to Hang Zhou or does it just stop only at one place at downtown HangZhou? I tried to google for its route but could not find any on the web.

As I know, it is the only stop in downtown, and it is considered as the city center. Upon getting off, you may transfer to a taxi to West Lake.
