About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

China to Hong Kong Visa Requirement

Hi I'm travelling to Shanghai from London on a Friday afternoon and then onto Hong Kong that evening, returning back to Shanghai on the Saturday evening and flying back to London on the Sunday evening. Will I need to apply for a Chinese entry permit?

Jon, you qualify for the free transit in Shanghai, and no visa is required for that. Have a nice trip!
