About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying from Taipei to shanghai then shanghai to Hong Kong

Can I stay for 5 days no problem?

I went to the consulate in Los Angeles and they couldn't confirm
This 144 hour policy , is there another source where I can prove the validity

Hi, you can do that because you are eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. No need to worry!
