About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am an specialist engineer required to visit Xiamen urgently to fix a charter yacht

but have no time to acquire a visa beforehand I will only be required for 3/4 days can I get a VOA?

You should fly UK-Xiamen-Hong Kong to give you 72 hours transit without visa in Xiamen.
