About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

We are stopping off in Sanya on a cruise this is our only port of call in china , do we need a visa

We are not disembarking the ship , but no one has a straight forward answer for us

If your total layover time in Sanya is not more than 24 hours, and you will go to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in China, no visa is needed for that.
