is january 2018 a good time to visit the great wall of china?

Question

Planning a trip early next year. What is the weather like in January? Will be traveling with a disabled senior citizen with a wheelchair and will need to know if there are accomodations for the handicap. Thank you.

The Great Wall of China covers a large area, so it is hard to tell you the general weather condition. Considering your case, both Badaling and Mutianyu are suggested. Badaling even has lift for the disabled I remember. It is ok to visit in Jan. for you. It can be cold then. Cloudy days will be the majority. You are suggested to prepare warm clothing and have your family or friends accompany you.
