beijing - gubeikou hike to jinshanling - beijing in one day?

Hi,Is it possible to go from Beijing to Gubeikou by public transport, once there hike from Gubeikou to Jinshanling (I am well fit), and from Jinshanling come back to Beijing by public transport again? All in one day.Will be on August 10th this year (aprox.).

1. You can take a shuttle bus from Dongzhimen Bus Station, which heading for Luanping or Chengde. You need to get off at Gubeikou. You can also catch the same bus back to BJ.2. Generally speaking, it may take around 5 hours to hike from Gubeikou to Jinshanling Great Wall and about 3 hours’ hiking along Jinshanling Great Wall. If you also plan to finish the Jinshanling Section, you may need two days to do this trip.
