VOA shenzhen public holiday

Hii...
I will going to shenzhen from hong Kong at 3 October 2017.
Is voa shenzhen open on 3 october? Because I see on chinese calendar from 1 to 8 october 2017 national holiday. Please help answer. I would appreciate it
