Can a person apply for a new visa to enter China before an existing one has expired.

My existing Q2 type expire March 2018, but I want to go back to my country of residence December 2017 and come back to China January 2018.

i can apply a new entry permit here in china.im overstaying last 2016 But My passport not yet expire i can apply new visa now sir please reply

maria, you need to apply from your home country. If you overstayed you may get denied.
