About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong by ferry

We plan to fly into Guangzhou, spend two days there then take the ferry to Hong Kong and fly from there to Thailand. Is this possible? Considering we will not be leaving from Guangzhou airport. We have German passports. Any advice would be great. Thank you

If you travel like that, you should apply for a transit G type or tourist L type in advance.
