About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi. If it's the first visit to China can we get a multiple entry visa?

Or because it's first visit can we only get a double at most? We are in Canada. Thanks

Multiple-entry visa is being issued as a standard to Canadians now.
