How to buy tickets for Mogao caves in advance

My husband and I will be staying at the Silk Road Dunhuang hotel from Sept 13-16. We would like to visit the Mogao Caves with an English speaking guide for Sept 14. Where do we go to reserve the 2 tickets for Sept 14? How much do they cost? And fee for the guide?

There is an official website on which tickets can be reserved; however, it has no English version. I suggest you fax them at 09378825728 in the form of Visiting Application which should include your names, nationalities, language, amount of visitors and tel number or email address. It should be noted that only two foreign groups are arranged daily, 9:00 and 14:00, so you also should tell them which one you will go for. The ticket fare is CNY220 per person which includes the guide fare.

For your convenience, their email address is servicedha.ac.cn, but I am not sure if they will respond timely.
