Early Depart for Capital Airport T3

Hi, I need to reach Airport T3 latest by 5:45am, and I'll be arriving at South station at 1:12am. While there is ample time (4 hrs), I cant find any option other than taxi costing 150 RMB. Are there any other alternatives? Can I split the journey less taxi and more public transport?

As for your timing, I'm afraid taxi would be the only choice. Otherwise, you may miss your flight.

Thank you for the reply. We came to the same conclusion and embarked on the journey.

However, once at South station at around 1:15am, there were hardly any taxis to be found while the que for taxis was quite long. Those taxis that were there, wanted us to pay from 300 RMB to 600 RMB, off meter. After an hour of haggling we convinced one uber-like transport to take us to the airport for 250 RMB +10 RMB tip.

Moral: If coming from outside BJ, dont book flight before 11:30am unless you want to spend a night at airport or pay for taxis part of the way.
