About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hello, I am planning to go to Thailand for 13 days on August 2nd

as my Chinese residence permit expires. As my return flight to France can not be changed, I woud like to get a new tourism or business type for staying a few more days in China i order to take my flight back in Beijing. I should have all the documents needed, however I am thinking of how nights should I book in BKK as you mentioned the process takes 4 working days. So if I ask the visa on Wednesday, I should be able to pick it up on the next Monday, is that right ?

Is the express process available for the visa ? Then I could save some time and travel a bit around the country before going back to China.

Thank you

Clément, I’m afraid it is difficult for you to get visa from Thailand because temporary visitors in Thailand are usually advised to make the application from their home country.

Is it ? Even with a invitation letter for a business M type? My point is, I couldn't change my return ticket to France so I wanted to leave at the original time, but my residence permit for Beijing expiring before it, I would have thought of this as a solution to stay just a few more days in Beijing before back to my country. I read several comments that it is complicated but not impossible ! If I precise the duration of stay won't exceed 15 days, don't you think it would help ?

If you don’t have other choices, you can still try to make the application in Thailand. Good luck!
