About:Year of the Rooster

What does the future hold for me in terms of money, career and relationships.

Hello, I'm a 24 year old, young professional currently living and working in the Philippines. I'm a water monkey born on December 21, 1992.

What's in store for me in terms of money, career and relationships in the next few years? Career wise I think I'm doing well but still learning how to handle money. Plus relationships has never been a priority for me. Will I ever get married and have kids?

From the beginning of October 2017, transiting Jupiter will enter your 10th House of Career and with be there for 1 year. It will bring positive changes to your career. You will eventually get married and have children, but because you had an afflicted Mars on your Descendant, you are prone to divorce. Hi Peter! Thank you for this. This is my first time so I have a few questions :)

1. "because you had an afflicted Mars on your Descendant, you are prone to divorce" --- What does this line mean? Do you mean my child when you day "descendant"? So does this mean I won't get along with my future child?


2. What is the 10th house of career? What does it mean?

3. What is the 7th house of marriage?

In astrology we make a chart, which looks like a clock. At 9 am on that clock is the Ascendant. It is the point where you look at the horizon and you see the Sun rising. At 3 pm on that clock is the Descendant. This is and astrological word, and has nothing to do with one's offspring. It simply says that when the Sun reaches that point on the western horizon, it sets. Since on an astrological chart, the area between 2 pm and 3 pm on a clock is called the 7th House. If one has a bad planet there, one may divorce.

As you look at the sky towards the south (on the Northern Hemisphere) there you see half a circle. The other half of the circle is beneath the horizons and you can’t see it. At your left hand-side is the east, and on your right hand-side is the west. If you look straight up to the sky, there is the Midheaven. If you look at the sky just few minutes before the sunrise, you will see light. There is the Ascendant of that time’s horoscope. Let’s say that you also see Mars, which is about to set in the west. That place is where the Descendant is. So if one has Mars on the Descendant, one is prone to have trouble in marriage. The 1st House represents you. The 7th House is opposite it and represent others, or your marriage partner.
