About:Chinese National Day

What happens in Hong Kong during national day?

We booked a trip flying back on 1st October - will it be difficult to find accommodation? Should we change our flight to fly out on the 2nd October so as to not miss the fireworks at Victoria Harbour?

Generally there will be firework show on Victoria Harbor on National Day. If you are interested in the show you could change your flight to the next day. In that case you are suggested to book the hotel in advance because lots of visitors from China mainland would visit Hong Kong during the golden week on National Day thus it will be difficult to find accomodation then.
