About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I'm a British Citizin, but my husband still hold Ghanaian citizenship/passport.

He lives in the UK with me, because he has UK residency under a spouses visa until he applies for his ILR in 2018.
Does he still need a visa to travel to Hong Kong??? And what is the processing time if we are travelling on the 15th August 2017.

He still needs to apply for a visa to travel to HK. If he applies from the embassy of China and the embassy processes the application by itself, it may just take 4 working days; but if the application is transferred to HK immigration department or it is submitted to Hk directly, it may take 4 to 6 weeks.
