About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Onwards to Hong Kong

Hi,

We are travelling to China to visit Beijing / Xi'an / Shanghai. We then fly to Hong Kong.

I am applying for an 'L' visa in the U.K.

Do I need to include the H.K hotel in the application? The region options lists all provinces but not H.K or Macau?

Also, what does 'sharing a passport' mean? My Girlfriend is coming with me but we have our own passports?

Dan, there is no need to include HK hotel booking record.
You two can use your own passport to travel. I have no idea of “sharing a passport”.
