Can I keep a large suitcase (30" international size) under my seat on a bullet train?

My son and I will be travelling from Beijing to Xi'an on a bullet ride, with 2 large suitcases. Will we be allowed to stow the suitcases under our seats?

The suitcase is too large to put it under seat. You can arrange it at the spaces between carriages or the space between bulkhead and first/last row of seat.
