About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From Thailand I am flying to Guilin then to Shanghai to fly to canada 72 hours

do I qualify for a permit

Mary, no, you won’t qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that because you will stop in two Chinese cities. Apply for a transit G type beforehand.
