Ticket / Itinerary Change During Visa Application

I have already applied for a business M type with tickets that look like: USA -> South Korea -> Hong Kong. From Hong Kong I have to take a car several hours into China. However, my reason for going to South Korea may be canceled. If I have to change my tickets now, will my visa be in jeopardy? Could I be denied entry to China if my tickets don't match?

I don’t think it will be a big problem. You can call the consulate general to confirm that.
