I married a Chinese woman in the UK 9 years ago now we want to retire to China

What Visa do i need as I am a british man, married to Chinese woman 9 years ago in the UK. We are now nearing retirement and want to live in China. The wife has retained her Chinese nationality and still has a current Chinese passport. I have a UK passport, will I need to do a health check as I have diabetes. Alan, you can apply for a Q1 type for that. After entering China on a Q1 type, you can apply for a temporary residence permit to live there. If the embassy requires, you need to provide medical report.
