Question about invitation letters

I understand that you will offer the invitation letters after we book the trip. My question is when we are flying into China, do we need to have the letters printed out to show to the immigration officer?

We provide the invitation letter in order to help you on your Chinese visa application process. A valid passport and visa are required for an individual to enter China. Usually the airline will give each passenger an entry card and a customs declaration form to fill out prior to arrival. Thanks for your attention.
