About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

US => Shanghai => Taiwan

Flying in from SFO to PVG on Sunday and flying out to TPE on Tuesday night. Will I need visa or can take advantage of this 72 hour visa-free transit? Not sure how Taiwan is considered since it is not listed as one of the countries allowed for this.

Tom, Taiwan can be regarded as a third region, so you are eligible for the free transit in Shanghai. Have a nice trip!
