About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Double checking if I can qualify

I am studying in China on a student visa which expires 30 July. On that date, I fly out to Europe for a month. I then have a flight back to Shanghai to gather my things, before onward flying back to New Zealand. Can I qualify for the 144 free transit? I just plan on being in Shanghai for 2 days maximum before flying to NZ.
