I have livd in China for a number of years now as an ESL Teacher and have found an teaching job in Shanghai. What are the documents I'll need to submit to apply for a Z type / resident permit in Shanghai? And please be specific about which documents need to be authenticated. Thank you!

Don, you need to provide passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, and a work permit as well as other documents required by the consular officers. You need to get your degree certificate attested.
