About:China Visa

hi my wife and I live and work in china we are both Australian

and will be retuning to Australia to give birth to our son I am wondering what I will need to do about visa and residency permit for our new born son when we come back to china 2 months after the birth

You should apply for an S1 type for your baby and after entering China, you can apply for a residence permit for him. You need to provide his passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, a passport-style photo, an invitation letter from you and copies of your passport and residence permit, as well as his birth certificate.
