About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

From Guam to PEK

I am flying from Guam to Tokyo. Then Tokyo straight to Bejing. I will be there 2 days then back to Tokyo for a layover then to Guam. Would the 72 hr visa be appropriate?

Also if I were already In Tokyo for a day. Then flew to Bejing the next day for 2 days and after to Guam via Tokyo would it apply?

Crystal, no, the 72 hour free transit won’t cover your trip then because Tokyo-Beijing-Tokyo is not a transit.
