About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Singapore to Beijing / shenyang

Hi,
My brother will be leaving Singapore and wants to visit me in Shenyang. Can he fly to Beijing and take the train to Shenyang, with the 72 hours starting from Beijing? Then get back to Beijing within 72 hours?
The flights to Shenyang are expensive.

Many thanks.

No, it is impossible. He can only transit either in Beijing or in Shenyang.

If your brother is a Singaporean then he doesn't need a visa as long as the trip is less than 15 days.
