About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, my girlfriend and I are Canadian

and we are wondering if we fly from Kuala Lumpur to Qingdao to Canada, with under 12 hours in Qingdao are we eligible for the 72 hour free visa?

You don't need a visa to fly Malaysia-China-Canada with under 12 hours in China.
