About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

48 hours in Beijing then a connection in Chengdu

Hi I will be flying from taiwan to Beijing and then two days later I will be flying to Tokyo but I have a stopover for a couple hours in Chengdu. Is it ok to get the 72 hour transit visa?

Brain, no, it is not ok. You need to apply for a transit G type then.
