How to travel from Dalian to Dadong and return?

We intend to visit Dalian and Dandong next week. Please advise where to take the bus in Dalian and also the bus station in Dandong. How long is the journey? Is there a train service? Thanks

The transportation is quite convenient. You can take high-speed train from Dalian North Railway Station to Dandong Railway Station. The train schedules are from 06:45 to 19:04. It takes around 2.5 hours on the way. The return way is the same. Don't worry.
