coming to china with a conference visa

Hi , am Samuel from Ghana...I would be coming to china on 14th for a conference in Beijing, I wanted to be sure if I can get admitted in any school with my conference visa? Would the school change it into student visa for me when am admitted?

Samuel, you need to inquire that with the school. If you are admitted and get all the required documents, it is possible for you to change the current visa to a student X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China.
