Which visa type? Conference + holiday

Hi,
I'm visiting an academic conference in China and will use the opportunity to take a holiday there after the conference. The combined trip will be less than 30 days. Which visa type do I need?

You will need a F visa. Netherlands passport holders enjoy 15-day visa free entry to China. If longer than 15 days, a visa will be required.

Or you can exit to Hong Kong before the end of the first 15 days and re-enter to activate another 15-day visa-free stay.
