About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flight ticket with one stop : they consider the city of the stop or the final destination?

I am Ukrainian . I want to fly from Kiev to Shanghai . But it doesn't exist a direct flight . I have 1 stop in Beijing of 2 hours . To come back to Moscow I have a flight ticket with Turkish Airlines : Shanghai/Kiev with one stop in Istanbul of 2 hours .
They will consider I am going from Shanghai to Kiev and it will not work , or they will consider I am going from Shanghai to Istanbul and it will work ?

Kiev-Beijing-Shanghai-Istanbul-Kiev permits you 24 hours in China without a visa, from scheduled arrival in Beijing to scheduled departure from Shanghai.
