About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Chinese Visa (72Hour free transit applicable?)

Flying to Singapore, we getting on-board a cruise ship around Asia then disembarking to Shanghai with only one visit in Hong Kong. Departing to the US same day from Shanghai. Do we need entry permits?

Claudette, you are eligible for the 144 hour free transit program in Shanghai. No visa will be needed then.
