Hi, I am student in Wuhan and I bring my wife here on S1 type. Now she got admission here for study I want to ask. Can  We change our visa here staying in China? or we need to go back our country to change the status?

Hi, you can try to convert your wife's current S1 type to a student X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you don't need to leave China.
