About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Lay over for 9 hours in shanghai

Ill go to hawaii but will have a lay over at shanghai for 9 hours. Can i enjoy this 72 hour visa?

If your route is Philippines - Shanghai - Hawaii on non-stop flights then you don't need a visa for 9 hours connection in Shanghai.

It will depend on whether the immigration officer decide to issue the permit or not.
