travel out of china with soon to expire working visa

Question

Hi, I am currently working in China and hold a Working Visa. The visa is going to expire on 12 August 2017. However, I will have to travel out of China from 22-30 July 2017. Is that fine for me to travel out of China knowing that my visa will expire 2 weeks from the date i Return to China?Thank you.

Usually, you should extend your residence permit one month prior to its expiry date, so you should apply for the extension first and then travel out of China. Otherwise, you may be refused to re-enter. You can confirm that at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.
