To shanghai and back the same day

I need to go to Shanghai airport for a day, (visit bank of china) can I fly there and back to south korea on the same day without leaving the airport as it is not nessesary

You cannot enjoy the 24 hour direct transit then because it’s not a transit at all. You need to apply for a visa in advance.
